NSW: Chikarovski dismisses leadership rumours

SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - NSW Liberal leader Kerry Chikarovski today denied speculationher leadership was again under threat after the modest weekend by-election result in Hornsby.
The comments come ahead of a party room meeting tomorrow to coincide with the resumptionof state parliament.
Liberal candidate Judy Hopwood managed to snare just 46 per cent of the primary votedespite the ALP not fielding a candidate.
Mrs Chikarovski has also failed to markedly improve her performance in the polls.
