"COMPUTER LAW & TAX REPORT" PURCHASED BY M. LEE SMITH PUBLISHERS.

Closely following last month's purchase of four legal newsletters from Appelate Review Inc. (Louisville, KY), M. Lee Smith Publishers (Brentwood, TN) has acquired Computer Law & Tax Report newsletter from Roditti Reports Corp. (New York). No terms were given.

The acquired newsletter is designed to help business professionals, computer consultants and attorneys stay current with legal developments in the computer/internet industries. Established in 1974, the monthly covers such topics as intellectual property, privacy and security in cyberspace, software licensing, Web site development, antitrust and e-commerce. M. Lee Smith said the letter also monitors laws enacted by the U.S. Congress and state legislatures, regulations issued by federal agencies, and decisions rendered by federal and state courts.

Brenda Thompson, currently editor for M. Lee Smith's Benefits and Compensation Law Alert and Benefits and Compensation Law for Nonprofits, will become editor of the purchased publication. M. Lee Smith now produces 130 publications, including 50 state-specific employment law newsletters.
